Karma Yogi's 'Smruti Din' Observed With Variety Of Activities

SSM has organised different activities on the occasion of the 11th Death Anniversary of Karmayogi Baba Saheb Deshmukh. A two weeks full activities reflected his mission and vision of Integrated Rural Development.

Cleanliness Campaign on 11th August involved the village youth and SSM's students, who worked hand in hand and spread the message on the importance of Cleanliness and hygiene. Spilling garbage was cleared off the village streets, The blocked drainages were cleared and the disinfectants were sprayed.

Literary, Musical, Sports and Games Competitions were organised in ' Open to All’ format, for all the children and youth of the schools and the village. The winners were rewarded suitably.

Medical Checkup Camp for pregnants and ailing women from around 20 villages proved beneficial for the economically backward communities who remain helplessly unattended due to their financial limitations. A team of doctors, headed by Dr. Swati Swami, M.D., D.G.O, Citi Hospital, Naded, conducted medical checkup, diagnosis and treatment for the attended. In addition, the local Pharmacy shop supplied free medicines to the needy, on the occasion.
